This is Venice’s most famous square surrounded by spectacular buildings such as the Basilica di San Marco and Palazo Ducale. The square is also lined with designer shops and elegant cafes which are always full of tourists.
Gondola ride
The most romantic way to see the most romantic city! Gondolas are flat bottomed wooden boats 11 meters long, that were once regularly used by the upper class Venetians. Today only about 500 remain of the 10,000 gondolas that were in use a couple of hundred years ago.
