Venezuela is a tropical country with relatively uniform temperatures throughout the year. The altitude is the key factor that determines the climate.
In general, there are two main seasons in Venezuela. The wet and hot season lasts from May to October with average temperatures between 25 C and 31 C. The dry and cooler season begins in December and continues until the end of March. During this season, which is also the best time to visit, the temperatures range between 22C and 27C.
There are also regional differences in precipitation. The northeastern coastal areas receive the highest level of rainfall. |
