Parking
Auckland International Airport provides a range of parking options, aimed to suit the different needs of visitors to the Airport.
Dropping-off & picking up passengers
For quick drop-offs / pick-ups of passengers, space is provided directly in front of the terminals. The pick-up / drop-off areas are complimentary, although no waiting is permitted. Please ensure your passenger is outside the terminal waiting for you before you stop your vehicle in front of the terminals. Due to security requirements any vehicle left unattended in the pick-up / drop-off areas can be immediately towed.
Parking for mobility card holders
Parking spaces are provided on the outer forecourt road of the international terminal and in front of the domestic terminals for motorists displaying a valid mobility card. Additional parking spaces are provided within each of the short-term car parks, at locations as close as possible to the terminals.
Parking meters
Ideal for people who wish to spend up to 30 minutes either dropping-off or meeting passengers at the international terminal. A limited number of parking meters are conveniently located on the outer forecourt road. Maximum stay time is 30 minutes, charged at $2.00 per 10 minute period.

Parking facilities and charges are outlined below:
Domestic terminal, short-term car park (uncovered)
$2.00 for the first 20 minutes $4.00 for 20 - 40 minutes $6.00 for 40 - 60 minutes $7.00 for 60 - 80 minutes $8.00 for 80 - 100 minutes $9.00 for 100 - 120 minutes $3.00 per hour for each additional hour or part thereof $24.00 maximum for the first 24 hours Extra days charged at the lesser of $24.00 per day, or $3.00 per hour
Domestic terminal, premium car park (covered)
$10.00 for the first 60 minutes $4.00 per hour for each additional hour or part thereof $32.00 maximum for the first 24 hours Extra days charged at the lesser of $32.00 per day, or $4.00 per hour
International terminal, short-term car park (uncovered)

The long-term car park is within comfortable walking distance of the terminal (150 meters), has security fencing and camera surveillance.
