NEW HELICOPTER SERVICE BASED AT VENICE AIRPORT
Venice Airport is the operational base of HELIAIR VENICE, a leading Italian company in passenger transport by helicopter. One of the company's helicopters is always based in Venice to provide services for private and corporate travel.
HELIAIR offers:
a circular Helishuttle service connecting Venice Airport with Lido, Treviso, Padua and Vicenza. After an initial start-up phase this service will become a normal scheduled connection with fixed days and hours; a charter service on request for all destinations within a maximum radius of one thousand air kilometres from the airport; the Venicetour service, a panoramic flight over Venice, the smaller islands and Lido.
The helicopter's flying speed is 250 km/hour. This means, for example, that it takes 8 minutes to Lido in 8 minutes and only 35 minutes to Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Examples of pricing are the Venice-Treviso and Venice-Padua legs, costing respectively 89 and 99 euro per person, excluding taxes.
As well as dedicated shuttle and charter services, HELIAIR helicopters can offer corporate clients flights for topographic and photographic services, flights to support sports events such as car, cycling and offshore races and all the other airborne activities and civil protection work associated with these rotor air carriers.

A car sharing collection and delivery point is open near the arrivals area of the terminal with two parking spaces.
Car Sharing is an innovative multiple-user service to move about the town intelligently and in an environment-friendly way.
Without using a private car, you can say goodbye to road tax and insurance, maintenance, cleaning, garage hire, deadlines to meet, and so on.
People who use the Car Sharing service can:
1. go through and park in "restricted traffic areas";
2. use special lanes and/or reserved lanes in the town area;
3. park free in "blue paying" spaces and in the open-air car parks managed by A.S.M. S.p.A.
4. drive freely on "alternate registration number" days (in fact cars belonging to this scheme are expressly excluded from this restriction).
